Frequently Asked Questions

About the production

The NATIVITY is a 25-minute performance that follows the Biblical account of Jesus Christ’s birth.  Scenes include Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem, angelic manifestations, and visits from the shepherds and three kings.

More than 100 volunteer, non-professional cast members have committed to these performances in exchange for the opportunity to share their love for the Savior, Jesus Christ, with friends and neighbors.  Actors are not paid for their contributions.

In addition to the 100-plus cast, there are more than two dozen live animals featured in the production.

Other onsite activities

Dozens of local music groups and individual musicians will be performing, and more than a hundred nativities from around the world will be on display for guests to enjoy.

There are no costs to attend this event:  parking and admission is free.

Who can attend?

Anyone

Do I need to reserve seats?

NO, but reserving seats can insure that you will get a seat at a specific performance.  Every performance will have a portion of the seats designated for walk in and others for reserve.  For convenience, attendees may reserve seats, but since this "reservation" does not reserve a specific seat and seating is limited, ALL are encouraged to arrive early for best seating.  Please note the following details:

1.       All seating will take place from one of two lines at The NATIVITY.

Upon arrival, if you have reserved seats and have your printed tickets, please line up in the line marked "Reserved".  If you do not have reservations, please line up in the line marked "Walk Up".  Seating from each line will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the appropriate reserved or non-reserved sections of the bleachers.

2.        All seating (from both lines) will begin 50 minutes before each performance time.

3.        If you have reserved seats, the reservation is good until 20 minutes before the performance time.

After that time, all seating will take place from only the "Walk Up" line.

Regrettably, this means that if you arrive - even with revervations - after the 20 minute cutoff, you must join the end of the walkup line for seating, as available.

What should I wear?

Performances are outdoors, and seating is on bleachers.  All are encouraged to dress warmly.
